AEG Silent Blender Testing Gets Underway
Last month we appealed for 5 video testers for our new AEG Powermix Silent Blender. We received a fantastic response with over 150 people emailing us to let us know why they would be the best person to test our new addition to the AEG family, the reasons were comical, heart-warming and there was even some begging!
The five Taste Club applicants who were lucky enough to be chosen to test the Silent Blenders are now testing their new gadget with a mixture of soup, smoothie and chutney recipes from our friends Atul Kochhar, Angel Malik and Vladimir Niza at Daylesford.

The AEG Silent Blender is the quietest on the market, producing a mere 77dB, other models currently available produce anything between 85 and 95db, making it impossible to continue conversations or hear the phone ringing. The innovate Powermix model, which features an attractive triangular glass jug, stainless steel knives and stepless speed-dial also comes with a juice filter which removes unwanted pulp and a pulse setting for ice crushing, which doubles the speed of the knives.
The Silent Blender also comes with a handy mini chopper accessory, which is great for preparing smaller portions and fantastic for chopping and grinding, dicing onions and blitzing nuts.
