MALAYSIA NIGHT

On Friday 23 September 2011, a free 'Malaysia Night' is set to take place on Trafalgar Square. This is the second year the event has taken place, with the 2010 Malaysia Night drawing in over 20,000 people. For one night only, Malaysia will take over the capital in the form of an authentic Malaysian Pasar Malam created by Malaysia Kitchen and designed to showcase the authentic and vibrant cuisine and culture of Malaysia.

Twenty of the best Malaysian restaurants in the UK will be serving up delicious Malaysian classics such as Laksa, Rendang and Satay straight from the grill. The Royal state of Terengganu will be providing dance and musical performances throughout the day and they will have their own food stall serving traditional food from Terengganu – so for one night you can eat like Malaysian royalty!

Visitors will have the chance to purchase traditional Malaysian products from Chuanglee Ltd and get more information about what Malaysia has to offer from Tourism Malaysia.
